Yay! This is Tokyo's #1 English-language magazine and I'm thrilled to get all written up in there. Those of you who have read
TiT may remember me mentioning this publication in the chapter
"...And on Drums." I used its classified listings to find musicians to play with.
Anyway, you can read the review
here.

Thanks for the memory jolt! I was a sensei at Kanda Gaigo Gakuin 30 years ago for a bit over a year. I changes careers often then and never looked back at the former life. You have made me think and laugh.
Thank you

got the book from a Japanese bookstore on 6th in midtown. I am in the process of writing about my time in Tokyo (black american, well educated, now a lawyer, there b4, during, and after 9/11, there for World Cup, also a MOBA teacher and returned for a semester of law school at Temple University Japan near Roppongi, spent a total of 2yrs only in Tokyo)). I kept a journal. so much discussion in a special class called "VOICE" and I simply want to pick your brain. i can be reached at marvincb@gmail.com - marwan tomodachi on facebook. Meanwhile I will search for your email and social network info to contact you there as well. I have been to a couple memoir writing classes and people love my idea/experience. Thanks for the added inspiration.
